0 Stop lying, Mythomaniacs !!!

Liars, braggart, mythomania, mythomaniac, lie, lying, boasting, mental disorder, bullshit, nonsense

Remember the fairy tale that tells the story of a braggart? Usually at the end of the story the loudmouth will be rewarded due to his actions. Braggart is someone who likes to utter gibberish or nonsense, and could also be people who exaggerate reality.

So what about mythomania? Mythomania is a condition where a person has a tendency to lie, exaggerate, and even have high imagination as if it actually happened. According to some sources, mythomania cause serious mental disorders. According to experts, this usually occurs in people who have low self-esteem, and do so in order to gain the attention of those around him.

If I may be honest, it is not difficult to find people who like to brag. We often find liars ranging from mild to severe grade. Actually boasting is an action to make other people feel interested and feel amazed about ourselves. But done by lying and exaggerating even fabricated nonsense stories. The lie that we often hear is usually about having something that nonsense and lies about the status, income and social circumstances.

Perhaps boasting is normal when only happened once, twice or three times. What about people who are called "no day without bragging?" Maybe this is the so-called mental disorders or mythomania. I have experience with people like this, always has a great story about him, regardless of whether the person who heard the story knowing the truth. Worse, there are many people who believe and respect him. I think this type of guy have entered into the heavyweight category, because the pronunciations, lips and eyes that are usually considered as a sign of lying, he escaped from them. In my opinion, person like this unable to distinguish between reality and imagination itself. It is very sad, because i knew it for real, almost all the nonsense that is told much different from the reality.

In actual fact, i'm not going to say that i never lied. What I realized was when I felt ashamed of the truth about myself, and exaggerate my story to give a better impression than the reality of the situation. Until I realized that it would only make us feel self-conscious, guilt, discomfort, anxiety, fear, and so on. You can breathe sigh of relief when you felt like I mentioned above. Because it means you still have a normal mental condition.

Then how to deter those person who like to brag? For the lightweight category, arguing his story and tell the thruth will help make change. But for mythomania category, the loudmouth will just treat you as a nuisance, and will continue to do so with others. In this conditions I think the solution is a psychologist, because it touches the mental state.

So how about yourself? My advice, stop bragging and be yourself. You may be able to be popular with your lies, but that is not a good way to make you a good friends amongs us.
